Manager Financial Due Diligence

Svalner Atlas Advisors is launching its Financial Due Diligence (FDD) practice in the Netherlands to meet growing client demand and expand its transaction services offering. The ambition is to scale the practice to between fifteen and twenty professionals within two years, delivering consistent recurring revenue, and establishing Atlas as the leading independent alternative to the Dutch private equity mid-market. This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic team of experienced professionals, where top talent thrives and careers accelerate.

The Manager will play an integral role in this newly formed team, taking ownership of projects from kick-off to closing. They will manage client relationships as the primary point of contact, building trust, aligning expectations, and ensuring deliverables consistently meet professional and client standards. Working closely with the FDD Partner and Director, the Manager will plan and deliver assignments by defining scope, timelines, resources, and risks, while maintaining oversight of budgets, costs, and profitability.

Typical assignments span the full spectrum of financial due diligence, from reviewing historical performance and assessing working capital trends to building equity bridges and evaluating risks and opportunities in financial statements. Balancing detail with the bigger picture, the Manager not only demonstrates a strong technical understanding of due diligence and valuation but also the underlying rationale behind the analyses. Leading cross-functional teams, the Manager drives projects forward, thereby coaching and challenging junior colleagues while ensuring high-quality delivery. They play an active role in shaping the practice, representing Svalner Atlas Advisors in client meetings, spotting opportunities for growth, and building a strong presence in the Dutch mid-market. Pragmatic and collaborative, they strengthen the team by sharing feedback and driving a culture of continuous improvement.

At Svalner Atlas Advisors, every contribution counts. Initiative is rewarded with ownership and accelerated progression. Based in the heart of Amsterdam, this role offers ambitious professionals a unique chance to help build a new practice, gain broad exposure, and accelerate their career with a clear path toward a future Director role.
