About VitalFluid

Over a decade ago, Paul Leenders, a creative entrepreneur with a background in chemistry, and Polo van Ooij, an electrical engineer at TU Eindhoven, discovered the enormous potential of plasma technology during a joint research project. Together with TU Eindhoven, they founded VitalFluid in 2014. Since then, the company grew into a world leader in applications of plasma-activated water. With the support of venture capital and in collaboration with leading partners such as Radboudumc, Wageningen University and the European Union, the scale-up is working hard to scale up several ambitious projects.
